If I have a server at GuardianHost and want to migrate to a new one, do I have to pay for both at the same time?
You can place the order for your new server at least 10 days before your current server gets invoiced. Once you've done this, you will need to open a ticket to our billing department notifying us that you have placed your order for the new server and request the 5 day migration special. Once this has been done, we will extend the current servers billing cycle by 5 days and schedule it to go offline after the 5 days has been exhausted. This will allow you 10 days to migrate to your new server and avoid having to pay for two. Please be aware that it is the customer's responsibility to migrate the data between servers.
