SEO - Advanced Optimization Technique
One of the most neglected aspects of SEO and one of the easiest ways to increase your site's traffic with almost immediate results is to better phrase your titles and descriptions.
When optimizing pages to achieve good results on search engines, most people seem to focus mainly on being number one for their keywords. However there is a very powerful tweak that will make your listings stand out from the rest whatever position your page is within the results.
<Title> And <Meta description> tags have very little impact in your page's rankings which is why they tend to be forgotten by specialists but they are like your business card, the first bits of your site new visitors from Search Engines will ever see.
Search Engines usually use these tags to display the ad copy when your pages appear somewhere within a SERP (search engine results page). Have a poor title and an unconvincing description tag and the user will jump to the next result no matter what position you are in.
Descriptive call to action sentences achieve the best results. Always put yourself in the place of the user and try to answer whatever questions may have led users to perform their searches.
Study what others say and differentiate your site from theirs with more compelling tags because while achieving a page one listing is fantastic, if you aren't compelling a user to click, what's the point?
Here is an example of a weak SEO effort followed by a much more compelling strong example.
Weak (Generic)

Strong (Descriptive and problem solving)
